San Siro Stadium

The retrofit intervention carried out on six cantilevers of the second ring of the stadium consists of applying a prestressing force to beneficially alter the static regime of the elements, allowing to comply with safety measures both in the operational phase and at the ultimate limit state, without significantly modifying the dynamic characteristics of the cantilevers. The prestressing force is introduced through two external cables, arranged within sheaths and grouted. Metalworking operations were necessary to form the terminal anchoring systems.
