ECSD has always been a bridge between research, application, and dissemination. Prof. Mola organized and led numerous sessions and served as a Member of the Scientific Committee or Advisor for various national and international conferences. Notably, he organized and directed the International Conference 'The Conceptual Approach to Structural Design,' held in Milan in 2003, Venice in 2007, and Singapore in 2011. He also served as a member of the Scientific Committee and Permanent Invited Keynote Speaker at the International Conference 'Our World in Concrete and Structures,' held annually in Singapore, which was dedicated to him in 2014.

Elena Mola, after earning a degree in Structural Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan, completed her PhD at INPG (Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble), Ecole Doctoral Mécanique et Energétique, with a thesis specialization in Mechanics: Design, Geomechanics, Materials. Her thesis, titled *Criteria for the Seismic Vulnerability Reduction of Existing Irregular Reinforced Concrete Structures*, was developed at the Elsa Laboratory of the JRC (Joint Research Centre) of the European Commission in Ispra, under the supervision of Prof. Jacky Mazars and Dr. Paolo Negro.

Both during her PhD and in the subsequent years, she has authored several publications, including some of the most significant ones listed below.

From the 2011-12 Academic Year to the 2022-23 Academic Year, she served as a contract professor for the Laboratory of Construction Architecture II (structures section) and later for the Building Studio Laboratory at the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Milan, where she was involved in teaching and reviewing students' integrated projects.

In 2015, she was a member of the Working Group of CTBUH on “A Study on the Damping Technologies Available for Tall Buildings: Comfort and Safety.” This research group produced a publication on the technology and design of additional dampers for tall buildings, which was published in 2018.

In 2016, she was the only Italian member of the ‘Technical Panel on Seismic and Dynamic Events’ established by the Institution of Structural Engineers based in London, UK. She has also been on the reviewer list for the *Bulletin of Earthquake Engineering*, the official journal of the European Association for Earthquake Engineering, published by Springer, and for *Techne, Journal of Technology for Architecture and Environment*, the scientific journal of SITdA (Italian Society of Architectural Technology).

In the context of dissemination related to ECSD's activities, she has been an author and presenter at various conferences and workshops. Below are some of the most significant ones from recent years, sometimes alongside ECSD staff members.
